2007-06-04 03:05:00 | ....and here some time next year. These are the ads that have started airing as of last night in the US. The iPhone will be available at AT&T stores and Apple stores. It will be interesting to see which one of our service providers decides to carry it in NZ. I'm betting on Vodafone since Telecom seems to be a bit behind in coming forward. www.apple.com

2007-06-04 03:36:00 | I dont know about that. Even at Engadget they dont know when its arriving considering that people have told them just about everyday in June. | beeswax34 (63) | |

2007-06-04 04:10:00 | It is mentioned in Apple's adverts and Steve did actually say that it would be the last day of June. :) So yes, at this point I am pretty sure. There seems to be a lot of press coverage of it at the moment. Including reports of iPhone users (aka AT&T execs) browsing certain web sites with the iPhone using Mozilla. | winmacguy (3367) | |

2007-06-04 09:05:00 | I'm betting on Vodafone since Telecom seems to be a bit behind in coming forward.Unless Telecom can build its new GSM network within a year, it won't be them. The big question for us is how long it will be before it is launched here. Assuming Vodafone is selected as one of their European partners, I'm hoping New Zealand is counted as part of Europe (end of this year) rather than Asia (early next year). :) | maccrazy (6741) | |
2007-06-04 10:05:00 | Why asume it would come here at all? | Metla (12) | |
2007-06-04 10:32:00 | Why asume it would come here at all? Because it is a mobile phone that will be sold globally in due course.

2007-06-04 11:08:00 | wow...Its a mobile phone, an expensive one at that, so a tiny tiny market in a tiny tiny country at the bottom of the world with 2 very greedy teleco's, and no doubt the current networks wont support it without a boatload of money being spent and even then it will probably be restricted to a half dozen masts in Auckland. Nice one. Hell, 3g isn't even implemented in a worthy manner in NZ, My phone has probably logged onto a 3g system twice in its life. Sucked in by marketing once again.
