555604 2007-06-03 07:52:00 Hey Peeps :D

I am trying to find those little round marbles you know the ones, the ones everybody played with as a kid... I have found that these marbles make great ammo for my weapon of choice (slingshot :D)... Anyway, I have been looking around 2 Dollar shop, KMark and The Warehouse and none of them have the marbles and have not had them for sometime  I am wanting A_LOT of them 1000+ does anywhere know a place around the Wellington area that still has them? and are cheap?

Thanks :)

He tried looking for them in those two places that you mentioned, but to no avail.

Cheers :)

[Edit] A rather odd thread title, I must say.

I thought that the title would attract attention and I couldn't resit :D :p

... let your imagination roam :D

555610 2007-06-03 08:53:00 JamesKhan, it is an old expression which has gone out of vogue these days, it means to lose your mind in a moderate sort of a way, lose contact with reality. "the lift does not go to the top floor" "not playing with a full deck of cards" "doolally" "bats in the belfry" and so on; in this case it was used humorously with a double meaning I believe.

Here is another strange one for you:

"if wishes were horses, beggars would ride."

555612 2007-06-03 09:54:00 Should've asked me 12 years ago.

My brother managed to gather 500 or so marbles.

Then he dropped the bag and they all went under two commercial size chest freezers that haven't moved for 20 years.

555613 2007-06-03 10:06:00 Heh, well I don't think Mum would have let me loose with a slingshot 12 years ago :p I am bad enough as it is now :D :xmouth: The_End_Of_Reality (334)
