555559 2007-06-19 23:17:00 Rob99 was suggesting to look at already existing free templates. It's a good idea, there are some fantastic ones out there. Might take a bit of digging to find one that suits you, but definately worth while.

Plus getting the site hooked up to a content managment system such as snews, so you don't have to worry about the technical details when you want to edit your site, just... change the text, and forget the code.

Another free template site is: www.openwebdesign.org but I think the ones that Rob posted are generally higher quality

555562 2007-06-20 00:03:00 Yeah... watch out for those supernova's. Could sneak up on you at any second :p

I meant this: www.solucija.com
With that, you really only need to deal with the content of your site, and everything else will (should hopefully ;)) be taken care of by snews.

See what other people here think though. If your site is simple enough, using a CMS will actually just complicate things.

555565 2007-06-20 07:15:00 Actually Myth (and no disrespect here), the applet is kinda 10 years old style - very outdated now. So are the bevelled images. They look so 1970s and are also regarded in the community as being more personal homepage-like.No offence taken, like I said, you and stu know way more about websites than I do. I've only touched on html so my knowledge is minimal Myth (110)
