Do I expect too much when I offer accommodation-free holiday at one of NZs' (sorry Billy :P ) most wonderful and secret harbours as payment for the work to be done . Else just pay someone (like me) a small wad of cash and get it done professionaly See above :lol: Actually Greg I was looking through your site last night, PM me with your companies charges for only hosting and I maintain please? |

Considering some beach accommodation will cost over $1000 a week for accommodation such as we offer, our prices reflect that we purely want to share our spot in Paradise. And yes Stu has offered to do his best for us. I know he also has a real job, but he seems also a philanthropic fellow too! :) |

I'm all for folks helping each other out when they can - I mean I've been given quite a lot of free advice and help which could well have been charged for (cue Shortcircuit). So although I'm happy to assist in terms of time and knowhow where I can, I have to pay to rent space on the servers that host my customers' sites. So I would be doing myself a disservice to do it absolutely gratis. |

[/I] You risk frustration when you post to an open forum like this I'm afraid . It goes with the territory (no body language and all that) . Good luck with getting your site rewritten . I'm sure Stu will do you proud . Does any of the accomodation listed on your site, use any of the NZ accomodation directories, and if so what was their experience? My friend has a motel and you can pay Jasons and the AA mega bucks but then they are the well known names . |

If you want I can make you a template similar to one that ive posted if someone isn't all ready making one for you. I can also build it so its easy for you to edit and add to it but you probably already have a coder. |

Or go for a NZ owned company (http://www.cleverinternet.co.nz/ is a US owned company) There are NZ owned companies that offer hosting for that much or even less. |

| 555546 | 2007-06-10 04:00:00 | Thanks for all that input. There are so many hosts offering out there, I have driven myself mad reading what each has to offer in comparison to .. whatever. After hours of all that, I have realised that the best thing to do is to step up our hosting with kiwiwebhost to Premium level. That gives me plenty to play in size 100MB, email accounts aplenty and mailing lists etc. I already have a rough idea of the CPpanel. ChrisN ~ or anyone, if using a template, do you just replace the text or pictures with one of your own, is it supposed to be that simple? |

| 555547 | 2007-06-11 06:28:00 | first you will have to crop the images into "blocks" programs like image ready can do this and also output it to html which will make sure your images are lined up correctly You will have a index.html page on your server which you will replace with the page made by imageready(or similar) and also upload the images. You would then center them in the middle of the page and add the background and format the navigation bars images to link to there pages. I can do this for you if you wish and have it ready so its easy for you to edit if you aren't familiar with html |
