To get a laptop to play Crysis or other modern games well or ok'ish would end up being expensive. I play computer games alot and I have looked at buying a laptop for gaming when on the move etc. but found that what I was willing to spend on a laptop was not enough to play the games I wanted to at an ok kind of level.I would have to spend heaps of money on it and I could instead build a way better desktop computer for the price of the laptop. So this what I do now: For portable gaming I have a PSP with games and movies and music for traveling and its great.Put it in a carry on bag with the rest of my stuff,sweet as.:thumbs: Otherwise I use a desktop for playing computer games and have the PSP just for travel etc. Another option would be a xbox 360 or playstation 3 put it in a carry on bag for the trip over to Oz and then plug it into a tv when you get there and there you go,your playing your games.Better specs and gaming then a $1500 laptop for sure.:thumbs: Anyway just some other options for you to think about.:) |

| 746735 | 2009-02-11 19:14:00 | Hi guys, havent been on here for a while. been letting gary ask all the questions. i was told that that Toshiba laptop could potentially play Crisis, but definately not at full settings. i mainly play WoW with TBC as i dont have WoTLK, and i think that any other laptop would be better. however.... i was basically told that i wasnt to buy the previous laptop and to get that toshiba, as that scores a 4.1 on the scale (vista). and it is the best for my price range. My father has a two bedroom apartment on the Sydney waterfront. Im not allowed to turn the tv volume past 8 and i did have a 360 over there, but i couldnt use it so i brought it back. Dad works like 23/7 so can barely get on any computers except the apple (which i dont know how to use). and it is raining, great, i have to walk to school... i have an ipod touch, which is great cuz i got xplane 9 for it. and i have run outta time. post more tonight. |
