555777 2007-06-04 02:16:00 Hi Gaz...Not sure where you are from, but for all those "I don't know where to start" problems, don't forget your Citizens Advice Bureau can usually point you in the right direction. The CAB are a great bunch of caring people and most are volunteers.
Best wishes for your Mum's health, Myth.

555778 2007-06-04 03:39:00 Same about your mum Myth and about the phone/power issues, since all this is privatized or owned by an SOE, you'd have to complain to a lot of different people to get any results.

Arnie, the only reason that the woeful and inadequate media in this country dont ask that question is that they would then not have a bandwagon to jump on like John Campbell did. Journalistic standards in this country would make Africa/China blush.

555779 2007-06-04 06:26:00 Cheers all. And Myth, send my regards to your mother and your family, and of course, yourself. qazwsxokmijn (102)
555780 2007-06-05 04:31:00 Don't worry. This is all managed by the market. So everything is perfect. Ask Sir Roger, and Sir Michael. The shareholders are happy. Graham L (2)
555781 2007-06-05 19:51:00 Uhh, I wasn't really after condolences (but thank you for them anyway, she got the results back from the op, although the lump was definitely cancer, it doesn't appear to have spread to surrounding tissue ), just pointing out that while we moan about the little things in life (power outages really are a little thing, unless of course they cause death), others in life actually do have something to worry/complain about; and there is not a thing one can do about it but continue on while hopefully gaining strength from it.

What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger (I do hope beetle sees this post too :))
