I have installed Live Mail and filled in my details, but the read mail tab will not work. I must be doing something wrong!!!! My only email at the moment is through web mail Thank you, Jack |

| 747236 | 2009-02-12 21:32:00 | Just did the same thing - the setup had to be set to http, not pop3. ( this was for web mail) At first it wouldn't download the folders, some crap about not having an account ( which I had alrady created). Closed off the live mail, went back and signed in from windows live Here (login.live.com) - opened the mail link - signed out, then reopened windows Live on W7 - folders came through and away it went. MS in their Wisdom ??? have removed an email client from the OS, you either have to use windows Live, Outlook in Office, OR a third party program. I can see the fun now for people upgrading to W7 -- at first - Wheres the Email ??? Edit: Just added in another account from paradise, and set that to pop3, filled in the details manually, and that worked fine as well. |
