747155 2009-02-12 07:35:00 Hey pple, I have a problem with the printer or the settings. Anyhow, it can print word documents BUT when i print adobe documents it comes out rubbish or encrypted. Either way, this only happened after i installed & uninstalled a software to type chinese. And the uninstallation didn't completely remove all the components. So how do i go about solving this problem? any advice ? JA88 (14012)
747156 2009-02-12 07:41:00 In regional and language options remove all language packs except english Blam (54)
747157 2009-02-12 07:52:00 I can still print word documents but not in adobe format so i don't think deleting the language pack will help? Because i managed to print out in chinese before. I think i silently installed some system file that screwed with either printer or language settings. JA88 (14012)

747161 2009-02-12 20:59:00 Can you use system restore to go back prior to the chinese app? Ofthesea (14129)
747162 2009-02-12 22:59:00 1) Try Revo Uninstaller (http://www.revouninstaller.com/) to see if you can completely remove the Chinese character input software. Windows XP Home and Professional editions have language compatibility pack that you can use to input Chinese characters

2) Have you tried using a different Adobe Reader to print out the pdf document?

3) Try system restore as suggested by ofthesea

Cheers :)
