I wait a while it plays for a few seconds then locks up again. I have tried Power DVD, and Gom player, windows media player, Quicktime. they all lock up. I have over 2gigs ram,Sata drive , 512meg video ram, 3800 amd 64 bit cpu. Running windows xp with all the updates. Help please!!! parky13 (12552)
746573 2009-02-10 23:54:00 I would post a hijackthis log or go into task manager (if you can) once it happens. And see whats using up the CPU

Have you scanned it for malware?

746574 2009-02-11 01:22:00 Is it just the one music DVD or any music DVD? Does it play other types of DVD OK? FoxyMX (5)
746575 2009-02-11 10:31:00 Yes I have done scans for malware. When the pc locks up there is no high usage of the cpu at the time. The problem occurs on any DVD I play. I have tried music and movies. parky13 (12552)
