748243 2009-02-15 22:31:00 Hi
From your signature, I notice that you've HD 4870x2 in your computer box. Just for my interest, how do you connect the 2 cards to your monitor? Can you use either one of the 2 to connect it? :o

748244 2009-02-15 22:45:00 The graphics card is connected to the monitor by using only one of the graphics card's port. Inside the system, the graphics card are linked together using CrossFire technology.

Cheers :)

(Sorry, I am not pctek. Just a dude :p)

748245 2009-02-15 22:47:00 I know I'm not Pctek, but I can explain.

The 4870x2 is not two cards, it's one with two GPUs on it. It has are two DVI plugs so you can connect 2 monitors to it.

748248 2009-02-15 23:12:00 There's a difference between the 4870X2 and two 4870's :)

The X2 as mentioned has a CrossFire bridge on it so the card acts as one unit. Two 4870's can be bridged as well.
