Will a PSP game purchased in the US work on a NZ player?

I know that there are definitely dedicated PAL versions of X-Box games for NZ and that they have PAL clearly identified on the box and I presume that the US version is similarly identified as NTSC. Unfortunately this PSP game has no NTSC/PAL type identification on it at all.

Some game technology can run simulated (or quasi) PAL and so be cross-platform but what is the situation for PSP?

Cheers
