| 557632 | 2007-06-09 09:16:00 | I'm trying to get rid of some of my computer gear that I seem to have accumulated. I have this old computer to give away to whoever wants to pick it up. Its old, but works perfectly. Heres the specs: Case: fits AT form factor; with PSU OS: 98SE Mobo: Amptron PM-8500 CPU: Cyrix 6x86MX/MII, 255 MHz PR 300 (told you it was old :p) RAM 64MB SDRAM (will take PC100, 133) Graphics: S3 Virge (4MB Integrated) 52x CD-ROM Lucent modem USB card 15" monitor Keyboard (PS2) - (you will need to supply PS2 to DIN adapter) One PS2 port at rear, will take PS2 mouse Was going to give it to anyone local who really needed one, but then its doubtful whoever received it would genuinely require it. So, if you know a kid who might like something to tinker with, or you require something to build a basic server or whatever, drop me a PM Must be picked up only, no post Incidentally, I'm in Taranaki (15 mins from New Plymouth) |

In case you do not know. Once upon a time personal computers did not have hard drives. |

| 557638 | 2007-06-10 19:44:00 | It has a harddrive, minor oversight when writing out the specs :o From memory I can't remember what size it is, somewhere around 5GB (will turn it on later and check) And the floppy is 3 1/2"; all parts fully functioning |

| 557641 | 2007-06-14 04:18:00 | I was onto my fourth PC before there were any such things as HDD's in a home computer. Booting from a DOS floppy was standard. 10 MB (not GB) of HDD became affordable (and available). Awesome. |
