558294 2007-06-12 07:38:00 Where are the proxy settings? The only ones I can find seem unclickable in edit/preferences/advanced at the bottom.

That would be the ones, not sure why you can't click on them though.

558295 2007-06-12 11:47:00 This whole thread is a bit of a waste of pixels... I mean, really, a browser designed for Macs that is supposed to now be compatible for Windows??? Really! Greg (193)

It is compatible although I think its main benefit will be to give iPhone developers a "Windows" testing platform for 3rd party apps.

how dare you put firefox in the ranks of the xbob, or even the wii!

blasphemy! an insult!

has anyone tried fasterfox ( or simply modifiying their browser manually to acheive the same results)? actually made a notable difference - now i use all my bandwidth dloading 30 things at once rather than a tiny fraction of it loading 3 things at once:D

558301 2007-06-12 20:57:00 Hmmmm looks interesting, just a pity it's for XP SP2 and above, i was sure it was going to be for 2000 as well

I'll have to look at using Swift for testing as a webkit based browser on windows 2000

Works fine on Win2K SP 4.5.. Hasn't crashed yet..

Cheers for that, your right it seems to work OK on my 2K machine as well

Now I have a couple of Safari Questions for all the Mac users out there

I went to this page (developer.apple.com), and there were a couple of scripts

in case the above link doesn't work correctly

Just under Question 13 below the Favelets and bookmarks paragraph

In the layout related section, I have dragged the links to my safari bookmark toolbar and saved them there, however they only seem to work ocasionally and only on that page, when I try them on a different page they don't work at all

anyhelp would be appreciated

Might be one of the many issues in the Beta version of Safari. Have you tried sending your queries to the Apple devlopers. I am sure that they would appreciate your feedback right now.
