| 557719 | 2007-06-12 06:02:00 | Is there an alternative for iTunes? One that is free? The bad reviews on download.com make me want to find another program. I want to download podcasts (not music or videos) from sites that require iTunes - without having to use iTunes. any progress? |

| 557720 | 2007-06-13 02:20:00 | And for this reason I will never download another version of iTunes (aside from the SIZE of the sucker!!) There are plenty of good media players out there without, to paraphrase Metla, installing the travesty that is Quicktime. It's just too damn intrusive!! And not obvious to switch off either! QuickTime Alternative works fine with iTunes and possibly QuickTime Alternative Lite as well. |

| 557721 | 2007-06-13 02:47:00 | any progress? Downloaded Juice and Songbird but have not installed them yet since I have found plenty of mp3 podcasts hunting around a few university sites. When I run out of them I will try the iTunes alternatives. |
