2009-02-19 04:52:00 I have been using MS picture it for a while to create, and print customised labels (png and jpg) on to self adhesive sheets. I have found the programme to be just great but wonder if there is an alternative as I have lost the original disc and want to put it on my work computer. Any suggestions as to a good alternative programme? davehold (13001)

2009-02-19 06:23:00 I have looked at Picasa but it doesnt let you change the default size of the image, print labels 8 up or let you edit PNG image files (I someone knows how it does this please tell me) davehold (13001)
2009-02-19 06:31:00 If it is only labels you want, why not use Word or Publisher. Both let you make great labels to include all fonts and your own graphics. Scouse (83)
2009-02-19 06:35:00 Don't know if this is what you are after- but several you can "play with"

Paint.net (www.getpaint.net/) or Photo Scape (http:) - looking " interesting" Photo Plus (www.freeserifsoftware.com) or Gimp (www.gimp.org/) or May be something here (http:) - or here (www.digicamhelp.com)

2009-02-19 07:35:00 Thanks for the suggestions guys - I have looked at most of these but am more interested in creating my own labels rather than working with images. The other hassle is the very limited print options with most programmes, and this is one of the great features in Picture it. I have looked on trade me for weeks to buy a copy but there has been nothing. davehold (13001)
