Can anyone suggest or recommend a suitable web camera solely to be used with Skype, preferably with integrated sound..? Don't want the cheapest but looking for something that will give a decent pic. Thanks.. |

Most web cams,even cheapies ,do a good pic and sound generally comes via yr sound card and not via the camera. |

Some come with a crappy built-in mic, but I wouldnt bother .. get yourself a boom mic from DSE for even $15, and any el-cheapo Webcam should do you. I buy mine from Qmb.co.nz when they have sales, sometimes only $15 for a Webcam!! :D
Pretty much everything works with Skype, Im yet to find one that doesnt .. Ive even had my TV Capture card playing through Skype, so the person I was doing a video call with could see me playing the Xbox through my PC :D |

Agree with the comments made. One warning - if you have Vista make sure the web cam is compatible with Vista. |

Also a digital camera in video mode will work as a webcam connected to a usb port |
