Apart from that, NZ is a long skinny mountainous country, in two islands, with 4 million people, 40 million sheep, a heap of dairy cows, and not much else. Long may it remain that way. Until the technology of providing broadband becomes cheap, we aren't going to see low cost connections everywhere. I have no doubt it will happen but perhaps 10 years yet........ Remember the first cellphones 15 years ago? $3000-4000, shape and weight of a masonry brick, pathetic range, etc. Today, I have 3 perfectly good phones sitting in a cupboard/children's toybox. Be patient. :thumbs: |
