I have never been afflicted with the curse that most of my friends, immediate and extended female family members are burdened with. Whilst they are compelled to sit and scoff the entire packet of biscuits or block of chocolate or tub of ice cream in one sitting, I have always been satisfied to nibble on just a couple of bickies or pieces of chocky. It used to say around the edge of the Marmite cap, "Too much spoils the flavour." I believe they may have made too much by the time I first tried it; or it may be the ownership of the company that nauseates, however, a Vegemite with watercress sandwich is one of the world's finest achievements to date. |
