2007-06-18 08:48:00 | Yes there's a SLIM VERSION OF ZEN VISION M and W The Sound Quality is excellent and the video quality is quite good but kinda strain your eyes with such a small screen that's why I sold my Vision M to buy a Vision W. because of the resolution Creative had to reconvert again According to the Trademe auctions it is 0.75" which is 19MM but it is actually 18.6MM (so rounding is fine) that is the thinkness of mine from a shop... which is also the specs Creative has noted on their website so any that are brought from a shop will be the so called "slim" version... I find it fine... I like the screen size because it IS small and can be slipped into a pocket like a normal MP3 Player... and not so big as the Vision W which is why I didn't get one of them What are you on about? the resolution doesn't matter, I am transfering vids straight from PC to Zen and they play fine, actually are better quality than the stupid WMV format they convert it to... it would be the CODEC that it won't play it...

2007-06-18 09:57:00 | Ah it appears Creative software prompts me telling me the it cannot play on the Mp3 player due to the resolution issue. It says the video has exceeded the playback of the mp3 player so Creative had to reconvert the file to fit the player It was a MPEG file and although Zen Vision M supports it it had to convert to something like 800kBps video quality and the ending result was a WMA format

2007-06-18 09:58:00 | I have a vision w with me now and it sure is thinner than the old 1.I bought it myself .Its the slim down version of W | Ninjabear (2948) | |
2007-06-18 09:59:00 | Not really I converted many RMVB files to MPEG files and there are those that were converted from DAT to RMVB.Some would playback on the mp3 player some wouldnt and had to convert again because the creative prompted me to do so

2007-06-18 10:03:00 | I'm pretty sure the slim version hasn't released in NZ yet. | Ninjabear (2948) | |
2007-06-18 10:05:00 | I don't think a 2mm difference isnt a bigga deal for the Vision M and Zen W is 4mm thinner.LOL..Not that big of a difference come to imagine it. | Ninjabear (2948) | |

2007-06-18 19:27:00 | Sorry Jen, I was a tad tired :o Then what resolution was the video file? Even the best quality WMV setting looks worse than the original so I would use a 3rd party app to resize it... Well according to the specs on the TM auctions about the thinkness of them I have got a slim version... though I did have to get it ordered in just last week.
