| 560040 | 2007-06-17 10:57:00 | Well, I must have fantastic eyes then, I can see ghosting easily on an 8ms when I'm deliberately focusing on it. The problem is that for some people once they see it they can't stop seeing it. I can easily settle down and cease to see it... |

I know I triad a number of different mixes of grey paint to get the "shade" of black that pleased me when I was building my projector screen. I believe the final mix had a squirt of purple in her. |

| 560042 | 2007-06-17 11:08:00 | I own a 32" Sony Bravia and i have to say even when you are looking at things in sport at high speeds you don't notice any blur or ghosting. A person would have to be very meticulous if they think they can see things like ghosting at 8/1000ths of a second thats so fast its impossible for the human eye to pick up at that speed. Plasma tvs well they arent that good i have heard a lot of bad things about them but they are ok it you want anything bigger than 42"s. A workmate of mine bought himself a tv the same as mine a month ago and he had his eye on a philips 42" and the guy in the shop pointed to a pile of philips tvs in the shop and said see that pile their thats all philips rejects returned tvs that customers have bought, Makes me wonder what have philips done so wrong to be a lower standard than they used to be and voted the worst tv by consumer magazine and a tv3 consumer survey. |

Why under estimate your eyes? Its been proven that we can pick up an image displayed in such a timeframe, and ghosting can be demonstarted, Its a limtiation of the technology, Deny it all you like, Its there, and it annoys some people. |

| 560045 | 2007-06-17 11:30:00 | Is their that much difference between 720p and 1080p thats starting to get to the point where you just about wouldn't notice any diffrerence in picture clarity now.Surely you cant possibly get any clearer than 1080p or can you. The human eye can only pick up so much detail. |

| 560046 | 2007-06-17 11:37:00 | The human eye can pick up vast amounts of detail, Read up on it, Its a lens, just passes everything in its view back to the brain. And it accustoms itself very quickly, If its viewing a high detail image and then reverts to a lesser one the eye/brain can pick up on it, Especially when the image is in motion. If everyones vision was as limited as people claim anything traveling over 100mph would be invisible. Yet we can see a aircraft 4Km away traveling at 600Mph, and we can pick out the detail in a snowflake, The shades of skin on a face, Stars thousands of Km away. Don't sell your eyes short, we have impressive vision. |

| 560048 | 2007-06-17 11:42:00 | From what I have seen this latest round of High Definition media has amounted to nothing. Anyhow, The higher the resolution the image is the bigger the screen needed to fit them all in, So size is going to have to peak soon.... |

| 560049 | 2007-06-17 21:40:00 | Plasma also make a great room heater. Which is fine for winter, but do you want something up to a 500 Watt heater on in the summer? I would not buy a plasma by choice. |
