560510 2007-06-19 06:09:00 After receiving my apology and a bootle of wine from PBT, today I receive a visit from the local cop.

Apparently PBT initiated that, because it goes through their insurance, so he had to get the story from me too.

He's now visiting my neighbours.

Far out.....never had that before from a lost parcel. Any of you guys have, with your expensive things that went missing?

He said it was because of the amount - around $800 odd.

560511 2007-06-19 06:44:00 My new Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop (valued at $1,500) was 'lost' in August 2006 . below is the explanation from Dell:

I have gotten our forwarder’s reply on your order . They have investigated and apparently, they are unable to locate your order . I am so sorry to inform you that your order has gone missing and the forwarder has admitted that it was their mistake .

To rectify this, I have been requested to issue a new replacement order for you of which it will takes another 5-7 working days to reach you . For the long wait and the difficulties you have to go through, we would like to offer you with a free printer at no cost at all .

Please do consider our offer above and let us know if you would like us to proceed with the new order?

This laptop was supposed to be delivered by PBT couriers to my address - but was not delivered . Police were not advised, as far as I know - I certainly did not receive a visit from them . Perhaps one too many items have 'gone astray' recently!
