560461 2007-06-18 23:05:00 Xtra's is increasing "explorer" broadband cap from 5GB to 6GB. I just got a card from telecom in my letter box telling me this. everyone on the explorer broadband plan will be upgraded by the end of july. woooohooooo.
it's a small increase, but it's better than nothing. i wonder if anyone else got a letter? and is it just for explorer plan?

560462 2007-06-18 23:18:00 GO goes from 1GB to 3GB, a 200% increase seems better than a 20% one :) PaulD (232)

Us as well. Good one. That should keep me out of trouble with Maryann. PJ

560464 2007-06-19 01:16:00 There was a vague email from Xtra (which I found in my spam folder via webmail - ) which was all about new terms of service but didn't go into any detail. Miami Steve (2128)
560465 2007-06-19 01:44:00 Quite ironic that Xtra's own email gets binned by Xtra's own spam filter.

If GO is GO-ing up to 3 GB, then I will change down and save $10 per month.
I never use more than about 1.4 GB anyway, no point in paying for 5 (or 6).

560466 2007-06-19 02:40:00 I'm happy we get extra few gb's to use but that's not enough for most customers. No solid info yet as I haven't read it, can someone describe what else is mentioned on that card? msnforum (11610)
560467 2007-06-19 02:55:00 "Great news for Explorer Plan customers"
As a Telecom Broadband Explorer Plan customer we've got some GREAT news for you.

By the end of July the monthly cap on your Broadband connection will be automatically increased by 20% - from 5 GB to 6 GB!

This increase won't cost any more than you are currently paying - and even better, you do not have to do anything to make it happen. We'll look after the details ... ".

560468 2007-06-19 05:12:00 Nothing like a bit of PR spin from Telecom for something that is looong overdue.
I'm on Explorer.
