| 1435814 | 2017-05-28 11:46:00 | Hi, I have a wireless router/modem running Gargoyle, which I have used for a few years without problem. I have PC and Synology Diskstation connected directly to it, and my phone via wireless. A scan shows they are connected to the following IP addresses: Router x.x.1.1 PC x.x.1.232 Diskstation x.x.1.137 Phone x.x.1.120 I have configured a static IP for my PC (to enable Teamviewer Wake on Lan) - nothing out of the ordinary here. I have ESET antivirus, and currently use windows Firewall only (will be reinstalling Comodo soon) The strange behaviour I have is: When I try and connect to the DiskStation (using website find.synology.com ), the following happens: - Using PC (Firefox) and my phone: says no diskstation found - Using PC (Chrome) - locates diskstation no problems - Using PC (Edge) - page gets stuck 'searching..' and never progresses. However, I can manually enter the diskstation URL x.x.1.137 and the diskstation page loads as normal. Also, I can see the diskstation if I go to My COmputer > Network. The other strange behaviour is when I try and logon to the router itself. The following happens: - Using PC (all browsers) - the logon page loads fine. I enter the password, and click logon. page says 'logging on', but then returns me back to the logon screen again after a second or two - Using phone - logon page loads, and works fine (use same password, it accepts it and takes me to the settings pages as exepcted) I am sure the password is correct, as it works via my phone. I tried copying and pasting password from notepad just incase there was a key stuck on the keyboard, and no difference. Any suggestions what might be causing this odd behaviour? What I have tried so far: reboot PC, reboot router, no difference. Tried disabling antivirus and firewall, one at a time, no difference. Now I am stuck - any suggestions what's causing this?? Edit - I don't have any script blockers etc installed on my browsers |

| 1435815 | 2017-05-28 19:58:00 | With my Synology DS I found that I had to put it into the same group as my Windows 10 PC in its settings before it would work as it should. Prior to Win 10 it didn't care about that. |
