So, after discussion with local iwi it has been agreed that they would rotate them at hourly intervals. This has the additional benefit of reducing unemployment. :rolleyes: |

Is all this backlash still really because they issued tickets to a few people for parking there twice in one day? because other than that a customers only sign and a 4 hour limit is standard stuff and not worth a news story and neither is a sign everyone drives past and ignores. Here's a funny one, I once took my dog for a walk at the beach unaware that it was against the rules and got spotted reading the large council sign with my dog sitting patiently behind me. I guess some signs can't be read until you've already broken the rules to get to them. |
