1435290 2017-05-13 05:19:00 I use Outlook Express for my emails and just over the past week two headings have appeared above the list of emails in the Inbox. They are "Focused", blue and underlined, and "Other" in normal letters. When I click on one or the other it gives me two different inboxes with two lots of emails. What does it mean and why has this happened?

I don't want my emails split into two inboxes.

Am I able to get rid of that and return Outlook Express to the way it used to be?

Thanks very much for your help.

1435291 2017-05-13 05:28:00 Are any of the accounts Hotmail etc ?

That's the similar wording to the online Outlook.com, which is also Live, Hotmail.

1435292 2017-05-13 05:44:00 My address is @hotmail.com - is that why it has done that and is there anything I can do to get rid of it?

That's exactly what it says as it shows in your picture.

1435293 2017-05-13 06:39:00 I use Outlook Express for my emails To be honest I didn't think Outlook Express worked anymore with Hotmail, being its on XP ?

Have a look at the following article, down the page it shows how to turn on in Outlook 2016, -- there may be something similar in the email program you're using.

Cant test and don't have any computers with XP/Outlook Express.

1435294 2017-05-13 08:13:00 I don't use XP. My OS is 8.1.

Thank you very much for that link. It gives the opportunity to turn of the Focused/Other option and that I have done and now everything is back to normal.

I don't think that it is very good that the Focused/Other is just installed and activated without your consent. I'm grateful that I could turn it off.

Thanks so much for your help, Wainui. You have been a big help. Much appreciated.
