| 1434752 | 2017-04-29 23:22:00 | When someone said "a decade ago", you still think of the early 90s. When my mother was 90 she took out a funeral plan with Age Concern. She has specified that she wants cremation. The letter of confirmation offered her 'a very warm welcome'. I'm 75 now, but that's just 24 Celsius. Everybody my age is getting so old. I'm not old, just chronologically well endowed. |

| 1434757 | 2017-05-20 04:34:00 | Wow. I've been negligent and haven't been here for reasons that may not sound very authentic. I got my right knee replaced - that's not the reason why I've not been here though. I've been in Physical Therapy three times a week since Feb 27th - the surgery was on the 21st. I've been trout fishing in my canoe I bought last Fall - and it surely takes a lot of time to load it, drive to the lake of choice and fish until sunset. Well - it takes a half hour actually. (NZ= 22.5 Silliseconds) Since I've now gotten to 71 years of age, and I lose a friends every now and then - more rapidly now as they too are aging along with me. Funny, but when I don't see a friend for 10 or 15 years or so, they look so much older than I remember them! Sumpthing's wrong in my personal time-space continuum. |

" Likewise Joe went to an elder brother's funeral last year, the people there knew me, but they had to say who they were. Been away from there for the past 55 years, but did visit occasionally. lurking. |
