| 1435552 | 2017-05-20 23:27:00 | Was this W10 an upgrade from a previous Version of Windows ? Weird things sometimes happen when the OS was upgraded. Its been well documented: The 2015 free upgrade to the new Windows 10 operating system saw numerous reports of mouse issues. Symptoms were varied, ranging from a completely non-responsive mouse, to mouse-lag, to certain mouse functions failing to work. Other users reported issues with frozen, jumping, or disappearing cursors See the following site for some suggestions: -- Normally bad drivers. Indicated by the comment its after updates.www.makeuseof.com Try starting in safe mode, theres several ways. Heres how ( try the 2nd) www.digitalcitizen.life See if the mouse works. There is quite a few things that can be done, just need to work through them. BTW-- The Linux comment -- I got one PC here, that does the same, the mouse & keyboard decides to go AWOL, Sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes to detect if at all. If I swap drives and boot a windows OS or an older ubuntu, no problems, its only a driver issue. |

(for whatever reason) I assume you don't need to use a mouse with your phone. |

| 1435556 | 2017-05-21 06:07:00 | It's not win10, all versions of Windows have been the same. Updates killing drivers and other stuff ups are not uncommon. Either do your updates manually, choosing the ones you want or skip doing them. |
