1434855 2017-05-02 10:50:00 Always been a bit suspect about some of these places that sell online at highly discounted prices.

But the other day decided to give it a go, we needed some Micro SD cards, looked at a couple of places online, in NZ the average price for a MicroSD 128GB is $83 + Even listed on pricespy.

pricespy.co.nz

Thought what the hell, only $19 NZ + postage of $6. ( picture shows two packets but its only 1) includes the micro Card, larger holder and USB adapter.

Order Placed: Apr 23, 2017 -- Turned up today, put into tablet, works great.

Wouldn't go buying anything to expensive from these sites but this seemed to go well. The one pictured is not the cheapest either, some are as low as $9 same thing. ( just about to order some more - 256GB )

1434856 2017-05-02 17:19:00 I buy overseas, the brand I found reasonably priced is ZVVN, around $17 delivered for 128GB Micro SD but took me ages to find that price sifting through all of them and there could be cheaper again but I was happy to pay that price.

If they $80 then they charging double what they bought them at, as most of the ones I saw was $40 which I thought was steep and I wasn't giving up hope finding better.

I rarely buy in NZ but I would have been happy to pay that price of the item you found.

1434858 2017-05-02 20:33:00 Aliexpress, also wish.com. pctek (84)
1434859 2017-05-02 20:58:00 Aliexpress, also wish.com. The ones shown as PCTek mentioned wish.com

Some people at SWMBO's work often buy items from Aliexpress as well. Usually takes a week or two.

The shipping (tracking) isn't to accurate, was meant to be here on the 20th. :) that's only a estimate anyway.

1434860 2017-05-02 21:27:00 The only thing I'd be wary of is fake cards. If its not for anything important, then go for gold :D

I bought a bunch of compact flash cards a few years back from B&H. I could get them landed here in a few days for about half of what the locals were charging. So, yep someone is making a mint on cards.

1434861 2017-05-02 22:48:00 Faked branding : very common
Fake, bogus capacity : not so common
Fake, bogus claimed speed : common

All of which can also be an issue with NZ sourced cards though.

1434862 2017-05-03 00:47:00 I have bought several items from Aliexpress with no problems at all - in fact bloody good service and follow up if necessary. The only issue I have is delivery time but that can often be overcome when ordering by paying a little more for express delivery. True it is China based but often items unavailable here and all at far less cost. Woody (710)

That's not much cop, ONLY 128MB if it were 128GB then yep :)

128MB is to small for much. May be Ok if it were part of another order.
