| 749202 | 2009-02-19 05:24:00 | As I've posted before I always set a restore point before mucking around with new software. When I looked up HELP on SR 'cos I wanted to schedule an automatic restore point time, the only thing I could find was that it will be done automatically daily. The only "automatic" one I can find was labeled as a "Scheduled Checkpoint at 8.50 am". Normally my computer is not on at that time of day. So, how can I set things so that a restore point is created when I normally have the computer on? I'm using Vista Home Premium SP 1 Thanks |

Edited: just changed mine to 10am / daily Manually- click orb, type in restore, select " System Restore" ( wait to open - wait a bit longer :sleep ) Down the bottom click the blue writing "open System protection" Click "Create" - fill in what ever you like to call it. |
