And when we get (to him) this flashy-wirless router thingy for broadband, and he thinks he can use it because he thought his laptop came with wireless according to the specs sheet he was given by Dick Smith Just finished looking at the reciepts and it says it was sold for a 240Xi... interesting that is, because someone else in his family bought the same laptop for the same price with no wireless... etc.. Oh, well, DSE can deal with it. It's not the fact that it was bought 4 years ago, but its the fact that he was ripped off (not saying he was ripped off on purpose of course)	mabix (10146)

Forget the spec sheet, it seems like he got an XC but paid for an Xi. Did the other family member also get an XC or did they get an Xi but haven't done anything with the wireless either?	PaulD (232)

Then the receipt shows that he purchased an Xi, and it didn't have wireless. Therefore it seems that he picked up the incorrect spec sheet, and he should have got the spec sheet for the Xi, and his computer is infact an Xi. Or does the receipt model number not match the model number printed on the computer? Is it the XC, or the Xi comuter that should have wireless?	robbyp (2751)
