749408 2009-02-20 09:28:00 It's weird. When I plugged in both the PS2 + USB mice, the USB mouse works 'quite' normally, but it stops responding for a couple of seconds (from 2-10 seconds) and then works again. Just after I clicked on something, it stops responding and back to normal after a couple of seconds!

The right-click button of the PS2 mouse is working normally but not the pointer, it doesn't move.

If so what?

Thats probably why its playing up

Nothing apart from the PS2 & USB Mouse.

The system consists of the following:
1. DVD drive
2. PCI-E graphic card
3. Floppy drive
4. 1 x 1GB RAM
5. 1 x 200GB SATA HDD

Just tried without the PS2 mouse, every time when I restarted the PC, the USB mouse doesn't work - I have to plug in and out a couple of times before it starts to respond. But it still 'freezes' a few seconds after I click on something.

Device Manager shows the USB mouse as HID-compliant mouse; and there's another 'other device' (unknown device) with a big yellow '?' Don't really know what is it.

The hardware wizard doesn't recognise what it is and unable to install the driver.

How do I remove the '?' permanently form device manager? Is there a way at all?
