561482 2007-06-21 23:24:00 Actually i think if your paying taxes you should be able to vote regardless of age. rob_on_guitar (4196)
561483 2007-06-22 01:36:00 Well, I think you shouldn't have to pay taxes untill you hit 20...

Besides that, I agree with the bit about pies, These are the same people telling kids they don't have the smarts nor the right to choose what they eat, yet they want to give them the vote. If stupidity was rewarded with gunfire we would be out of bullets.

These are the same people who are up in arms about tobacco yet are pro-dope.

The greens were voted in on the environmental stand, Not on their wishes to mutate society into their vision, Yet there ya go, The elitist organic freaks get carried away as soon as they get any power.

Or maybe its because they have a woman in charge.........

Don't forget our MP's popping down the road for some greasy fish n chips.

561485 2007-06-22 05:30:00 The age of true maturity is 25. We should raise the drinking age to that too. And the smoking age, sex age, driving age, working age, school leaving age all up to 25. After all, under 25s cannot fully comprehend the full consequences. In fact, let's give up now, and have a single party stage, so noone has to make a choice. Oh, and only have one type of food, one type of house, a single jumpsuit to wear and pave the whole of NZ. After all, decisions are dangerous!

Is the decision to vote for a political party that much more dangerous than deciding to drive a car?

561486 2007-06-22 05:39:00 It's clearly a bribe!

What do most teens want to do at 16? Relax and smoke pot.
What do the Greens want to do? Relax and smoke pot.

That was a pathetic, narrow minded statement. Good job.

561487 2007-06-22 06:45:00 I thought it was a good and fairly accurate generalisation. roddy_boy (4115)
561488 2007-06-22 06:54:00 16? Sue Bradford seriously needs to shut her trap.

16 year olds are far too immature to make such decisions. Even many 18 year olds still are.

561489 2007-06-22 07:37:00 Ante-natal votes before Xmas? The poor woman sat down too fast and got concussion. R2x1 (4628)
561490 2007-06-22 07:59:00 We all know what Bradford is,but let us not forget the majority of MP's agreed with her smacking thing.

So twittery rules on the hill.

Just a little reminder, these dears rule our lives,so if any of you voted this lot in,then you wont mind.

I would never expect anything less of them.

Of course I'm pathetic. But I'm not narrow minded. I'm fat arsed!
I got enough fat to grease a couple of monkeys.
