Imagine a freeway to the base camp at Everest, some 5,200 meters in altitude or over 17,060 feet.

Work starts soon as the logistics are already worked out.\

China is a country that sells themselves out, and the worlds environment out for anything. They are already the worlds biggest polluter, and no matter what we do in NZ to help slow down global warming, when you have got a country like china, we have no chance.

I also don't like companies that subcontract out to china. Many of these products are inferior quality, and the chinese take shortcuts to save costs.
They are also producing these products with electricity that is generated from unsustainable sources, not to mention the energy miles it takes to transport the rubbish they produce.

eg. Just in the last week for example, the Thomas the Tank engine toys, that were painted with lead paint. There was no apology, just that they should be returned for a refund.
Chinese made toothpaste that was 'unsafe' and shouldn't be used. What was in this toothpaste that made it unsafe.

I think the Zahnpasta had ethylene glycol or something like that....anti-freeze by a different name..but it's sweet..try it....we get it here in our ice cream.

We usta have "Thomas the Tank" here for the kids. They've gone modern, we got "Thomas the WMD".
