| 561120 | 2007-06-20 23:01:00 | Lately.I have ants problem in my room My room which is in a hostel is on the first floor.The toilet is attached to my room.Outside the toilet is a little garden alleway.I think thats where tha nts are coming from. My room is quite tidy.All my food are stored in containers . My fridge is sealed shut once close so no ants can get in.Biscuits are in plastic container with lid in them.Salt,Soysauce,Tomato sauce are in containers so ants cant get in.I dont have any food debris on the floor as I vacum clean every week. Toilet is washed every week. I used a fly Spray spray the floor where the ant trails were last week.They've gotten smarter and are using the ceiling. It seems the ants are attracted the to the table where my biscuits and sauces are.Next to the sauce is another table where my monitor and computer are situated. I don't quite get why I have and ant problem.There's no food around Could it be because my room is warm?I have a watered heater from my room which is connected to every room in the hostel. Any ideas why I have ants? |

They often reside in cracks in the concrete or in plants that are being infected by sap sucking aphids - the ants milk the aphids for their sugary sap.
