2009-02-23 02:56:00 | yeah im pretty sure it the mobo. ive taking all the hard drives out. and just left the memory. and it just clicks. ive tryed swaping the memory over and still same result | brendanBiggs (14637) | |
2009-02-23 03:06:00 | Clicks or beeps - theres nothing to "click" on a board, Normally you will get beeps if theres a hardware fault, unless the Power Supply is faulty and while supplying power is not enough - tried a different Power Supply? What happens if you remove all the RAM and try to start the PC, it should go nuts beeping.

2009-02-23 03:11:00 | yeah i no it should beep. but it not a beep. i would say its more of a clicking or ticking noise. and no if i take out the memory it dosnt beep like crazy like it should, it just makes the noise. tryed differnt powersupplys and still get the same result i no it something wired, because i left it for 3 months and i turned it on and it posted but 10 mins later it starts the noise again

2009-02-23 03:49:00 | yeah im pretty sure it coming from the mobo | brendanBiggs (14637) | |
2009-02-23 03:56:00 | Hmmmm Thats really Odd - heres the Board (www.imagef1.net.nz) - as you can see theres noting on it that is turning, which is generally the source of any Clicking noise. Long shot - Pull out the CMOS battery - leave for about 5 minutes put it back - see what happens.
