750270 2009-02-22 09:01:00 Hi there,

On windows Vista, is there away from making the USB drive I am using for readyboost NOT appear in the safely remove hardware menu? It is annoying when I accidentally click it to climb down behind the computer to reconnect it. Kind of lazy I know but ah well.

Cheers,

GorCh

750271 2009-02-22 09:17:00 If you're using readyboost while you try to safely remove, it won't work anyways, as windows will be accessing it. It'll say "Cannot remove blah b;ah blah...."

And if you dont use it, to remove it, it may / will corrupt it

750274 2009-02-22 09:56:00 Oh ok. Guess I will just pay more attention in future. Don't know if I can notice many improvements witht the readyboost but the drive got superceded when 1-day had a special on 8gb ones, so wasn't being used and thought it was worth a try.

Cheers
