750275 2009-02-22 08:38:00 Well I"m finaly an ORCON customer. It took three weeks for the changeover.
Price is much the same as my old Xnet/telecom connection
Complaints with Orcon. Don't e-mail them. You get a reply from their computer and then about two days later you MAY get a reply from a real person. Usualy it's not needed, or even vaguely helpful.
They FORGOT to put me on uncapped upload. That should be rectified this week
Telephone responses are quick and their staff seem to know what they are talking about.
Download speed is about 3700 kbps and it seems to be constant. No slow down in evenings
With Speedtest.net I can connect with New York and Pretoria at about 2500 in the evenings. With xnet I was lucky if I could get dial up speed.
My bulk e-mail, notifying about 200 contacts of my new address went through without a hitch

Overall I am happy with the change

750277 2009-02-22 10:05:00 After 6+ months with Orcon I can't say I have any problems

Just tried a speedtest to a New York server, getting same results
