Yes, if the poll is a decent one, and gives you lots of options. But there are a couple of polls that aren't worth voting in due to the limited options that make it impossible to vote.

Since the polls are not scientific in their methods of gathering precise information, I would say that the answers come from the various replies rather than the final result.
But that is just my 2 cents.
