563258 2007-06-26 16:19:00 If you sell your iPod and don't remove your music first, you could find yourself with the Recording Industry Ass. of America (RIAA) breathing down your back.

The organization last week told sellers in the US that doing so is a clear violation of copyright law and warned them that it's sniffing out for infringers. (www.reghardware.co.uk)

563262 2007-06-27 05:37:00 Think about it, it's just like copying all your CDs as backups, then selling said backups. roddy_boy (4115)

563264 2007-06-27 05:47:00 No, not really, that's a stupid analogy. roddy_boy (4115)

Well if the RIAA is really worried about pirated songs maybe they should look at the reasons why people pirate songs and remove the need for it or at least minimize the need instead of keeping their way of thinking in the dark ages which actually benefits no body.

You see the problem with that senario is that the answer to the problem would take the power away from the RIAA and they don't like that idea.
