| 563223 | 2007-06-26 13:12:00 | digg.com orced_to_take_down_sites been trying all night to reach the site , no maintenance notice, nothing. I'm a sad camper if its gone. Pirate bay is only 1/2 as good and its 2x better than the next closest. Anyone reccomend an alternate?? |

Well from what I have seen, people talk about torrents and torrent sites openly on this forum... Heres a link to one of the threads that have people talking about what torrent sites are available pressf1.co.nz So banning this is just plain stupid when all the other threads havent been banned. |

Sounds like they had a bit of a crap morning.:( It depends what you are downloading, but as long as you say it's TV shows (that screen on free to air tv) I see no reason why the thread/user should be banned. Recording them off TV would have the same effect, apart from the advertising, but then again i suppose you would foward through the ads, so same difference. EDIT: newtorrents.info is also a good site. |

I see no issue with his post... he is not asking for illegal Vista torrents like you were not so long ago why they didn't ban you permanantly I don't know (I sure would have) there are torrents that are legal out there, torrent clients and torrents are legal, it is the CONTENT in which you DL that makes it an illegal activity :rolleyes: |

Anyway still cheaper than Noel Leeming, DSE, Bond & Bond etc. |
