| 562779 | 2007-06-25 11:13:00 | From what I have read you do notice some difference in quality between codecs and rip bit rates. Ideally the video capable iPod is actually design as a device to enable video to be portable and to be displayed on a bigger screen rather than solly on the iPod especially considering what happens to image files when you try to enlarge them - hence the reason for the on going development of the h.264 codec. It also helps to have access to a large selection of down loadable video content from the iTunes store - something that is really only available in the US so far. |
