The partnership creates a branded TVNZ channel on YouTube , offering a range of New Zealand-made short video material from current programming and the archive, reflecting the style of content popular with YouTube users. tvnz.co.nz |

2007-06-25 04:40:00 | I have just checked it out in Firefox and have to say that it looks pretty rude so far, needs a lot of work to tidy it up! It works though. | winmacguy (3367) | |

2007-06-25 06:16:00 | I think that was the longer version where goodnight kiwi climbs the stairs to go to bed in his satellite dish. | winmacguy (3367) | |
2007-06-25 06:46:00 | That means it will be Mac compatible:cool: Since you can view YouTube on Apple TV:thumbs: and your iPod:thumbs: :DDon't forget about YouTube on your iPhone. ;) It's good they are thinking outside the box, although as others have said above, it needs to be structured a bit better and it won't help Mac users access the paid content that is on TVNZ On Demand. Hopefully the fact H.264 has better compression will mean they can up the resolution and video quality. It isn't going to matter on your iPod or iPhone, you can get away with it on a computer screen (although it doesn't look good) but if you are watching with your AppleTV or computer plugged into an nice big screen it isn't going to look very good in its current state.

2007-06-25 06:52:00 | TV3 have got an article on the iPhone tonight during the news so it will be interesting to see how much FUD they dish up. I spotted the YouTube - iPhone bit the other day on Apple.com's site. Rick Ellis at TVNZ is also on the board of Directors with Apple NZ, Apple US is in partnership with Google where Eric Schmit sits on the Apple Board of Directors- Google owns YouTube... I wonder if there is any connection....
