What, the One News commentators themselves said that even gaining 1-3m is crucial and really good because the boats are so closely matched or is this because I said TNZ is going to lose?

It's probably just Greg being Greg:p

Gaining 1-3 meters a minute over 3.3 nautical miles actually a significant distance gained if you work out the length of time it takes to cover the 3.3 nm of each leg of the race. Eg 1 metre per minute over 30 minutes sailing time = 30 meters /8 seconds (boat length) and you have a distance of just under 4 boat lengths. You only need a nose in front to win the race.

562029 2007-06-25 04:03:00 In my eyes our boat is a jet on water no matter whats thrown at us somehow we always manage to come up trumps even if we do lose a race or two.

Does anybody know if TNZ switch the bulb from nzl84 the buzzy bee one to nzl92 i have heard people say that TNZ are using the buzzy bee one off NZL84 but not sure if this is true or not.
