563296 2007-06-27 02:13:00 I wouldnt say its the banks job to keep u secure. Most bank sites are secure.

Or they wouldnt let u do internet banking, in the first place.

They provide the service, you're the user. You're the one accessing their site.

The bank doesnt have eyes at the back of its head.

So, wont know what OS you're using, or what protection you have.

So its up to the user, to keep their system up to date / updated. To make things more secure.

And if your OS isnt up to date, and you get hit by some vulnerability, (which may not happen on a bank site), thats your prob not the banks.

The main things are to make sure.

1. Keep your OS up to date.
2. Make sure u scan for malware / trojans etc often.
3. Use a firewall.
4. Dont click on ANY links relating to logging into bank sites in your email. This is a big NONO.

God, only if more people listened to this one, we could seriously cut down on the no. of people affected by fraud.

That does your antivirus, what about your malware and spyware-keyloggers?

it does both.. as for keyloggers...it's no better or worse than anything else out there (speaking from experience)
