| 751696 | 2009-02-26 21:25:00 | Each time I open Word it defaults to the Print Layout screen, which I don't want, and I have to change it back, in View, to Normal. Next time I open Word it defaults back to Print Layout. I have had a look to see if I can find what or where is causing it, but I can only think it is de-fault of the programme and not de-fault of the operator.:groan: |

| 751697 | 2009-02-26 21:33:00 | You could try removing your normal.dot file | Rob99 (151) | ||
| 751698 | 2009-02-26 22:15:00 | Roscoe - locate your normal.dot file via Windows Explorer, right click on it (make sure no other Word docs are open at the same time) and choose "Open", then change what you need (Print Layout View to Normal View and whatever else you need to adjust), then save it and close it. Next time you open Word it should default to Normal View. Deleting your normal.dot is a last resort (especially if you have customised it extensively), but Word will recreate a normal.dot if you do have to go that far. |
