751578 2009-02-26 10:59:00 Hi Out There
I have the option of buying one of the following Linksys models:
WAG200G or WAG54G2. The reviews on the internet seem to be inconclusive.
Many seem to favour the older model WAG200. This is for a home situation
where the other wireless hardware in home are 802.11g capable. I am just above average computer user but with good problem solving skills. Which model would you recommend guys and girls???
Many thanks spitfire

751579 2009-02-26 20:16:00 I've seen a few good reviews on the WAG54G2, but the WAG200G seems reliable also.

Their prob won't be much difference between the two, but I reckon the newer WAG54G2 would have better wireless

It seems to have a good wireless range.

+1 here for myself and 4 of my staff.....didnt know there was a newer model?, I thought the next one was WAG200N!!

I have had several of the older models WAG54G's, V1 & V2, the V3 came in the new styling of the WAG200G

751582 2009-02-26 22:29:00 I have been using a WAG200G for a year now and it has really good range around my house/home office. Much better than the TP Link router I replaced after 6 months. The router is in my ofice downstairs but I can use my laptop outside which is upstairs (wee drinkie on the deck while browsing lol) davehold (13001)
