751487 2009-02-26 06:11:00 Hi
Just a quick bit of laziness to try and save myself some time.

I've just installed the latest version of the above two apps and have been stting up contacts with mates in the UK. Obviously at this time of day the time difference doesn't make testing the contacts viably at the moment.

So, basically the question is are these two going to work together straight off or is these something I should check before?

Swift answers greatly appreciated

Cheers

751489 2009-02-26 09:52:00 Well done Misty!

I prefer "Grind you down" but there's a host of pseudo Latin variations out there, none of which holds much validitiy 'cos carburundum hadn't even been invented back then.

Wikipedia and other sources can elaborate on all of it.

Thanks for showing an interest.

PS the "grind" bit is not a sexual reference!

751490 2009-02-27 12:37:00 I have a computer with both Skype & Comodo. At first Comodo is paranoid, but settles down. No real problems. mzee (3324)
751491 2009-02-27 12:57:00 Skype and Comodo on all of our computers work fine together. I've just checked "Always allow" to the Skype pop-ups that came the 1st time I started it up and its been fine since. beeswax34 (63)
751492 2009-02-27 18:38:00 Hi Mzee and Beeswax

Are you both using Skype 4 and the latest version of Comodo?

I also forgot to mention I'm using Vista Home Premium SP1

Oh, and while we're at it how do I stop Skype starting automatically with Windows?

Thanks

751493 2009-02-27 19:25:00 Untick its option in Skype. Or delete its entry in tools/startup in ccleaner Speedy Gonzales (78)
751494 2009-02-28 05:15:00 Yep!

Usual story - found it 5 minutes after posting, but by then the weather had got so foul that I unplugged the laptop, took the modem cable out of the wall and tried to find other meaningful things to do.

Thanks anyway
