| 751396 | 2009-02-26 00:37:00 | I decided to take the plunge and install Linux on my HP2133 notebook which is currently running XP Pro. I downloaded the Ubuntu 8.10 distro, burnt a bootable disk but can't get it installed. It hangs here...Attached file: DSC04910.JPG (www.imagef1.net.nz) (2.72 MB) I tried just 'trying Ubuntu' off the CD rather than an install. After showing the loading screen my 2133's screen has gone black with a clump of white pixels in the bottom right hand corner which I suspect is meant to be a mouse cursor but it doesn't move round. Help please! |
