2007-07-05 02:17:00 | See what can be done with a little time and effort. I had a *santas little helper* who set it up for me. Some of you will be able to figure out who that was. As I said, once I get an idea of what I have to do I can carry on. My helper did an awesome job! Big thanks to him ;) What say you all? http://www.aoteatourism.co.nz/

2007-07-05 02:34:00 | Overall, not bad. The header seems a little busy though. It also looks quite 'skinny' when viewed at 1280*1024 - perhaps a dynamic width would be better? There is a red border around the header. In Opera, flash content is displayed as 'always on top'. The result of this is partial obscuring of the dynamic menus when there is a flash object in the way. Edit: Some images appear to have drop-shadows, others do not. Consistancy is a good thing. Edit 2: Plaintext mailto: links - these should be built on-the-fly with a script to avoid spam harvesting, or manually obscured. This is very easy to achieve with javascript. Opera 9.20 / Linux, Flash 9 Debian Lenny/Sid

The result of this is partial obscuring of the dynamic menus when there is a flash object in the way. Onto that already: www.aoteatourism.co.nz Edit: Some images appear to have drop-shadows, others do not. Consistancy is a good thing.Noted... will tidy at some stage. | 565915 | 2007-07-05 03:21:00 | I spose it does make it look unprofessional to some, however, I dont mind it. Its good that there is some programs available for free. It was suggested that there might be some flash wizard out there who might make me up a new flash header. Something smart and flashy :) |

2007-07-05 03:31:00 | I didn't even see the header until Bletch mentioned it - my Opera settings are somehow blocking it so had to open FF to see it. :p Now that I've had a look, I feel that the header animation conflicts with the scenery one below. It's too much. It would be better if one of them was static. Apart from that, it looks good. PS I wouldn't mind doing that horse trek.

2007-07-05 03:49:00 | Looks good. My only concern is this "123Banners.com" link makes the site look unprofessional. I concur. That 123 advertising is one of the first things I notice on the site. I would drop the animation, and just have a static banner. The banner also is not viewable on an iphone, as iphones don't display flash.
