2007-07-05 12:09:00 | See what can be done with a little time and effort. I had a *santas little helper* who set it up for me. Some of you will be able to figure out who that was. As I said, once I get an idea of what I have to do I can carry on. My helper did an awesome job! Big thanks to him ;) What say you all? http://www.aoteatourism.co.nz/ :thumbs:Mostly crap. No disrespect intended.

2007-07-05 12:25:00 | Do you need all 3 below? As they all point to the same file, I would just leave the first one, screen and print are not needed. <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="www.aoteatourism.co.nz /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="www.aoteatourism.co.nz /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="print" href="www.aoteatourism.co.nz /> I am not sure if this does anything in the real world ... I think its just code bloat. Sure it LOOKS important but in reality it doesn't seem to make any difference. I'd delete it :)That isn't a regular CSS file, it's actually a PHP script. It will do different things for each mediatype - that is what the '&media=print' etc. parts of the URLs are for.

2007-07-05 21:33:00 | Nevertheless, its redundent code :) There is only one stylesheet called 3 times, and a duplicate code line. the one style sheet www.aoteatourism.co.nz this does nothing but tell the browser its for screen or print &mediatype=screen Why bother? I think you will find that site is a CMS site & Lovelee won’t be able to edit that or removing links to 3 css sheets ;) Plus I think you will find that Rob will want to protect/copyright his CMS ;) Especially when these code bloat lines are used instead of the 2 most iportant metatags.

2007-07-05 22:49:00 | Cheers for the feedback so far guys. If you do a print preview of the site you will notice the menu and footer etc is not displayed or printed. The <link rel="start/prev/next is explained here: www.w3.org Metadata added to home page, will show Lovelee how to add to other pages.

2007-07-05 23:35:00 | The flash heading is too busy and does your eyes in after a while. A few other things New Zealands should be New Zealand's Also read your text out loud to see if your sentences flow and make sense. eg: A land & past steeped in rich Maori history Five minutes up the beach is naturist friendly area, if people do come up the beach they usually avoid other people. Also I think there is too much detail in the home page eg "We take a shovel to dig a hole and wallow for a while. This activity is its best on a summer night, with little or no wind blowing, a full moon, or not, a starry sky, or not."
